'Sound International', voiced by Steve Hudson. Co-produced with George Stone (a brilliant ad-man)
Steve's vast experience as a communications trainer and the actual Master Class training itself was invaluable. He helped me look at written information with new eyes and get used to using his seven trusty techniques to communicate that information effectively. He’s adept at wooing you into deliberately ‘changing your speech pattern from instinct to technique.’ So I’m intent on using the tools he’s given me in order to do that.
‘The Voice You Want To Get To Know’
This course delivers exactly what it says it will. At the beginning of the course you are asked to record a number of lines to the best of your ability so you can compare it with what you sound like at the end. I was skeptical about how much I was improving during the course... I mean, sure, I learned some good advice but I didn't feel any huge improvement. Then I recorded the final readings and compared them to my firsts and wow... mind blown!
This course gives intriguing explanations for how to improve your voice while reading a script that has monumental results. ...All in all the results speak for themselves and I highly suggest it.
PRESENT ON CAMERA
Now the even more fun part!
Now that your child has passed the PSR Method test and has received their Voicemaster Diploma, you can offer them the chance to experience presenting in front of a camera using a green screen and autocue/teleprompter just like they use when broadcasters present the weather forecast.
We will provide you with everything you need.
Scripts which consist of news stories, a sports story, a story related to children and a weather forecast.
Instructions for the use of an autocue and a link to download autocue software.
A green screen (chroma key).
When you've recorded all the footage, send it back to us and we'll create an edited video for you and your family to enjoy.
We will give you a choice of backgrounds.
Before and After
This is Daisy presenting on camera in front of a green screen.
Et Voila - magically moved to Washington DC.
In front of a green screen and reading the autocue from his tablet.
Voicemaster magically transports Robert to Disneyland Paris for his report.
What is chromakey?
Chromakey is used by broadcasters such as the BBC and ITV for news and weather reports and when reporters are unable to visit the location.
It is an amazing invention! When in the studio, there are no images on the green screen, but with a little bit of magic viewers at home can see maps, videos and the reporter.
Just make sure you are not wearing anything in green when in front of the green screen because the effect is very strange; that is - you will only see the head.
